Shirley, pellet and BB guns are legal in most western Washington cities? I've noticed an abundance of gray squirrels in Coeur d'Alene but not in my town. I suspect the reason for this is that it's legal so shoot pellet guns in town.

Thanks to this law I wiped out all of the breeding starlings near my house with my adult precision air rifle.
