Thanks for the update on the fishing. Yes, I think it was Diane that I spoke to and she was very informative and willing to give me any info. I asked about. I tried to access the FS road on the north side and it's still snowed in. I was able to drive about 1 mile in and hit 2 ft. patches near the top camping area. I could see where a 4x4 truck sank in deep and had trouble. That was last Tuesday, so the recent warm weather may have melted out most of the snow. The snow patches were rock hard ice and I was able to drive my car on top. Once I reached the solid deep snow I didn't want to push my luck. Road is very soft in spots. I drove by there last night on the way home with the wind blowing about 40 mph with snow coming down on the pass, so winter isn't done quite yet.
