I own a pair of Zeiss 10x40's and a pair of Swarovski 8x32 and I will say that they are both great glass. Swarovski has just come out with a new coating process that is really exceptional as far as light gathering. Huntar is right--Cabelas has a great deal going on them right now @ 699.00 it's pretty had to get hurt on those, I paid more 7 years ago! I would definitely stay away from Steiners though--I spend alot of time looking through my glass and everyone I know (guides) has had problems keeping the barrels aligned on their Steiners-go with Zeiss Leica or Swarovski and I guarantee that you will never be disappointed.
