(Ruger Mini-14, 223) I see after market 20 round metal type mags for sale all the time for 20 to 30 bucks.
I say stay away from the 30+round mags, a lot of them will not feed right. But the 5, 10, 15, and 20 rd mags work just fine.

Now the ruger 10/22 22 lr, for one 25 round buttler creek(spelling) mag, yes, 50 bucks! And thats a good deal to. Most the time there $75 bucks give or take a few bucks.
