Roosevelt lake has them, as well as Sullivan and Chelan... the record came out of Bead lake by a buddies coworker... from what ive been told, whitefish chunks, smelt chunks, and even a bunch of night crawlers on a 4/0 sized hook works...bounce bottom at night in a boat just like you would fish for bottom fish in the sound... i would rig it a 18 or so inch dropper line with a 1-2oz pyramid sinker to a 3 way swivel, and run a 12-14 inch leader off the 3 way with a 4/0 hook....keep thumpin the bottom... ive never personally caught them, but my buddies have, and they do quite well with some fish in the 10-13 pound range, but most are smaller... buddy wants to take a trip to Chelan with his boat this summer, so i may try to catch them there, ive heard there is a decent population in Chelan...
