Here is that thread from a few years ago.
http://www.piscatorialpursuits.com/forum...html#Post520206 I used a Graco sprayer (Magnum X5), with a standard latex paint tip, and I used a satin finish latex paint (Parker, I believe). Use satin or semi-gloss on doors, much easier to clean. Use on a low pressure setting. Many light coats are much better than two heavy ones. Seal the tops and bottoms of the doors first. Mine is going in for service, but you should probably rent one, not buy one, unless you plan on doing a lot of painting over the next 5 or so years.
My spray room was entirely encased in painter's plastic (now my office), and I use that 12' wide plastic you get at Home Depot. They sell drywall shims (36" long by 2" wide cardboard strips) there as well, and those are a handy way to attach the plastic to the walls (with staples), as tape may prematurely detach when there is an abundance of moisture in the room from the paint.
Get some 1x2 firring strips. Two go under the doors, two go across the tops, and get some help to set your doors up like this. \...../.....\...../....\ (see picture above) Make sure you have sufficent room to get in between and spray the doors.
You can use the same set-up to paint your trim.
