Hank, here's the GOP's choice they have to make:

Stop shoveling schit, or continue trying to convince people that the schit is actually chocolate pudding.

It's clear that the American people don't buy that it's chocolate pudding...it's also clear that the GOP and it's followers (especially those like the ones who post here) still think that the second option is viable.

I suspect that the GOP will continue to fare worse and worse, then they will have to make a fundamental change, and the true believers like you and the rest here will embrace the 180 degree turn in many policies as being what you loved about the GOP all along.

Kinda sad, really.
