Back from a couple of days at the south end of Whidbey with the eagles flying and screeching and the Indians crabbing.

The concern about Deception Pass is that the high current flows create whirlpools which can quickly throw the bow of a boat in the wrong direction - take note of the high rock cliffs!

As has been written by others it is a beautiful passage but warrants respect.
