Being a rod builder I see and fish a lot of rods. We build 1 Lamiglas for every 10 Loomis rods. Out of that small percentage that we build we get a lot of them back... broken, cracked, etc. (Esp. on the ferrel???)

As for componets, they both seem pretty solid.

In my opinion... whatever it's worth, I feel that anything in an IMX is AWESOME, strong, sensitive and light, but they aren't cheap.
