I had been fishing with a Lamiglass Pro-X96LCT which is a light-med. 9'6" graphite rod. I caught an occasional steelhead with it but did not really enjoy the actual fishing. I finally stepped up to the plate and purchased a Loomis IMX 1084C. I could not believe the difference in the two rods. Now I consistantly hook more fish(due to the increased sensitivity), my casting arm is not fatigued after a long day(due to a decrease in weight), but more important is that now I enjoy each and every cast. I am now confident of what I am feeling on the other end. My vote: LOOMIS IMX!...No question! Thanks to Highliner for turning me on to this rod. Hope to see you Saturday!
