B-Run - I've heard of that. But if the bite went off in an instant could it have been they saw your partner stand up? Seems it wouldn't affect the hole your in because the pee would float with neutral bouancy down river quite a ways before reaching bottom. And I have witnessed many times in mid to large rivers where a lot of boats and peeing in the river were going on and the bite stayed good. However, could it be one of the reasons that fish tend to go off the bite after a lot of fishing pressure; along with other factors? Good debatable Q. I read in a mag. article of the amazing amount of untreated sewage that gets dumped into our coastal waters, and not just by the big cities. Could anadramous fish actually acclimate somewhat to these scents just offshore before entering the river so that they might be somewhat used to it? Aweful thought, but possible. And how about the guys that don't want to give up their anchor spot and some desperate guy dumps #2 in the river? Have actually heard of this. Now that could put a whole river off, especially if the guy ate burritos the night before. More opinions...
