Thanks for the interest Ak K. I hope to submit a final draft by late this summer for copyrighting, which is the easy part. I have been in touch with STS Books about publishing thru them, but they don't pay high royalties, so need to deal around. With minimal rewrites I hope to have it published by the end of the year. It will be entitled The REEL TRUTH, a very tech intensive study of the intricate method's of this guide, and others, fishing for Salmon and Steelhead. It will follow with the funniest and most unusual stories from 35 years of fishing for them all around the NW. We are also having a Fishing Story Contest on our ifish.net site in Oregon. I will include many of those as well as some from this site in the book. I didn't think I would be including stories about crapping and peeing, but after reading the great ones here in the Funny Fishing Stories, Fishing With Bears, and Peeing In The River posts (among others), that thought has now changed! - Thanks for asking, Steve Hanson - BTW, I bet P.A. could be Palmer? Driving the AK Hwy., I loved both the beautiful Matanuska Valley/Canyon area and the Wrangle Range area- just awesome!
