I have on order a Kimber Mountain Ascent in .300 Win Mag that I want to turn in to a long range shooter. I figured what the hell, might as well treat myself to a truly exceptional rifle, as it was a birthday gift to myself. Also picked up an AAC .300 Blackout and Eotech....because it matched up nicely with my AAC suppressor.

Been looking at the Leupold Mark 4 series of scopes. Just don't have that spare $1500-$2500 laying around.

Sadly, I've come to conclude that it's probably a necessity if one wants to see a target at 600+ yards.
