Kory, Try size 3 and 4 Vibrex or Mepps spinners in chartruese, orange, or blue. Any of the good steelhead spoons will work as long as they match the water conditions. If water is low and clear, try a long leader (5ft) and a wee dic nite. And yes, the more you spend on the water the more you will learn.
