I am looking at picking up a new sled with an outboard Jet, and am deciding between Merc and Yamaha for the main and the kicker. I'm wondering what experiences folks have had up here with the different shops for repairs and warranty work for these two brands.

In the past, I've had good luck with Mercer Marine in Bellevue for my old Merc.

Where do you get yours serviced?

Three Rivers Marine in Woodinville has done an excellent job for me. They have done some Mercury warranty work a couple of times. Good luck

I had to move out to the Peninsula to find a good boat mechanic!

Seriously, I had bad luck in Seattle, (that one in Ballard, is it Johansen?, and the other was the one on down by the Armeni launch in West Seattle, stay far away from both of them)

I've heard good things about Eastside Marine, (I think they're in Issaquah), and Auburn Sports & Marine, but I'm not sure what brands either works on.
