I'm floating the klickatat soon and was wondering if any one has been hooking some fish!? Also has anyone tried jigs on this river?
I'll be pontooning it and any advice would be helpful! Thanks ** steelyman ** beer

Just make sure you watch the temps., the warm weather (high 80's-90's) they are expecting over the next week or so will definately make the river all but unfishable except during a small window when the cool temps of the late evening and night slow down the glacial melt.

duck, theres fish to catch! Went and floated it today and I didnt catch any but........ Talked to a couple drift boaters and they had hooked and lost one. Not much i know but the water was a lite tan , much like my coffee! RIVER WAS
BlOWN! I floated from leidle to slide out and spent more time looking at the scenery than fishing! I surprised a nice Five by Four Buck in velvet With a doe! shoot Just curious!
By the way are you selling a duckworth jet boat?? I was wondering because I saw a fellow with one for sale and it was painted "THE DUCK" Thought that it might be you??? Tight lines!!!! oh yeah whats the reason why???

I have a friend in Klickatat who fishes every day. I also know numerous fishermen that constantly fish the klick. They are all in agreement that there still isn't any fish in the klick yet. This is strong information but do what you fill like. Just trying to save you a dead trip. The Duck (not the same person)
