Will the real Republican party please stand up? Why does the RNC put out the most moderate candidates who don't represent core Republican values out the RNC, John McCain, Zell Miller (Democrat), Rudy Jiuliani, Arnold Schwartenegger, George Pataki? Kinda sounds to me like 2000 all over again. Big talk about "compassionate conservatvism," "being a uniter, not a divider"-----and then acts like a steam roller with Dick Cheney shouting get on board or get out of my way.....

Giuliani did a good job yesterday on meet the press of demonstrating how this is a really good representation of the Republican party. BTW GW and DC are right in the middle between the far right and the liberal side of the GOP. How can you blame GW for not being a uniter? It's the people not him that would pull this off. Clinton had the same issues and so does Kerry. How could Kerry unite almost half the US when they are conservative and think he is lying and untrustworthy? It will never happen as long as there are key issues that divide this country that are decidedly liberal or conservative.

Yeah, that's why Cheney had the most conservative voting record during his time in the Senate, 'cause he's a moderate. :rolleyes:

Easy. It was his platform from 2000. He said he would unite the nation ... and he didn't. Instead, his policies drove the wedge deeper, and he successfully alienated us from our strategic allies to boot. Whatta guy!

No he gave them a chance to show their true colors and they did. Some people like friends just to say they have friends. Even if those friends do everything they can to destroy them. Some people like real friends ones that will pull their weight even when the road gets tough.

And some people know how to influence others and use diplomacy as a means of leadership. Obviously, Bouche does not.

And people do have a choice in the matter. That's why they're voting Bouche out of office for failure to deliver on promises.
