Looks like the spousal unit is willing to take the padlock off my genitals this weekend, so I'll be hittin' Westport on Sunday with Bucket, NOFISH, Cowardly Lion and Ineptune (not registered---yet) for a PP reconisance mission. I'll post a full report on Monday.

I'm not too worried about FishGal taking the prize. Although she did hook and land more Reds than I did (0 for me, 1 for her), we both SUCKED when it came down to FlippinBob and FlossinNate. Those two were on fire.

I'll post a video of the event tomorrow.

Just bring cash ladies, as I don't accept checks!!!!

Yeah, I just sure hope some of these Corndogs can actually shoot with my video camera. Video of Corndogs sitting around doing nothing but staring at Mustard Packets is not that much fun. \:D

I'll try to put the rod down in between fish to shoot some video of the event. I have already come up with a title of the next Opher-Bone movie:

Fishermen Gone Wild #1

\:D

PS. So far, my "TO BRING" list now includes:

Costco sized jar of MUSTARD.
Box of Frozen CORNDOGS
12 pack of Pacifico, compliments of Mingo

I think I've got everything covered! \:D

No kidding. I gotta somehow wash off all this Bad JuJu I must have stepped in someplace.

I think Stlhdr1 left a big ripe pile for me to step in after that last outing.

Oh well, at least big kings like mustard!

The pre-PP Westport trip yesterday saw NOFISH blowing chow over the bow, WOW. Never thought I'd see the day an old salt like him would blow chunks, on Dramamine no less. Just goes to show it can happen to ANYBODY.

I wasn't there for the Kodak moment, but spectators said the volume was good, the trajectory was straight and the amount was spectacular for a score of 8.5. \:D

I can't help but think NOFISH'S issues on the boat were directly related to the shape he was in when he retired for the evening.

That was just a minor hitch in my giddyup.....there were one or two other heavers on our boat, and a third of the folks on the second boat.....but most of those guys went to bed after Cowboy Bob's closing time \:D And no sooner did I get done flossing my teeth from the power puking, I picked up my pole, popped open another beer, and got right back in to fishing again.

For me, it was all about the festivities from the night before, and Sol took my place in the boat on the stern! Everybody knows that's where all of the kids get placed so they don't get sick as easy ;\) End result, one fish for our man SOL, and one fish for yours truly!

Bucket, congratulations on your avatar addition and signature photo......what's next, pictures of people puking over the side of charter boats?

Can't do it NOFISH. I'm INEPT when it comes to most computer stuff along with picking charter vessels.

The deck hand picking on Sol had nothing to do with $100.00 I gave him the night before.

So here is the real question ??? did you guys catch any fish ???

On another note, I can't remember what you had set up for big fish honors etc. In light of this, I am bringing a brand new Lamiglass to be to be awarded to the person who catches big fish of the day.. or you can award it for the person who pukes first.. In which case I will be bringing it back home with me.

This prize is a donation from Howards tackel shop. My sponcer of sorts.

B-RUN, The big fish for our derby was won by a fella on the other boat 17lb 9oz. We had one at 17lb 2oz. The Westport derby winner was 24lb. Our boat had 11 fish for 21 fishers, the other boat had 10 fish for 22 fishers. Basic slow day one the water.

If you want to win that Lamiglas, you must follow in the footprints of Master Poe (my buddy, my boss---the mighty NOFISH). You start by drinking beer at noon the day before and you drink beer on the bus all the way to Westport. After you've downed a case or so you then swith to cheap red wine at diner time. He chose Two-Buck-Chuck, but MD20/20 will work fine. After a half bottle of that you then break out the Potters whisky bottle and have four or five stiff whiskey and waters.

Hey, I have a Milf at my house !!!

Will be shopping for some oysters on my way home tuesday for my fish gut eating flatlander buddies. Being directionaly challenged the way I am keep note of any signs you see on your way out sunday...

P.S- I called my doc today and he wrote me a script for some of those patch deals.. he said and I quote " These *******s make you sick so that you don't even notice that the sea makes you sick, try and have fun "... Bringing a 120 quart cooler in hopes of bringing some fish home.. see you sunday night at some point. If any of you are familier with the westport area and recommend any hotel in particular let me know.
