from the amount of rigs i would say fishing is slow slow slow

hell, on the satsop anymore, the river can be dead and there'd be 30 trailers in the highway 12 launch parking lot, come january/february.

i think a lot of it has to do with guys trying to get away from the madness on the wynoochee, only to bring it to the satsop. i can't say i blame them, but it doesn't make it any more fun for me. you're pretty much wasting your time fishing it for steelhead until about a month from now anyway...

That's what I was thinking, too.
Earlier in the week the flows were fishable, however visability was stil questionable.

I dont much fish the Satsop, has no character to it. To make a better example I could pull plugs from the put-in to the take-out without reeling them in once.
