Here we go again. I just got wind of this foul smell from Olmpia...and no it's not from the lumberjacks down there. I thought I'd run this by you guys and see what you think:

Suppossedly the way to reduce our carbon footprint is through our pocket book. And who would have ever though global warming was such a huge problem considering the last 3 years the temps have dropped. Not to mention the huge winter we just had in out mountians. Someone take Al Gore up to Snoq. pass please instead of Jakarta.

I sent a letter to my senator and the reply back I got was this bill didn't make it out of the transportation committee and will not be voted on this session.

Bill is confirmed DEAD ON ARRIVAL.

We have explained this to you at least a dozen times. It's a big big world BJ.

You are absolutely correct. It's not "dead on arrival". It's simply a bill that won't be voted on this session. The controversy surrounding it...It will be one of the first ones to be voted on and pass after the election in Nov. Now my question is, how does that make you feel IF/WHEN it does pass. I have the feeling for the latter "when" more then the "IF".

There are several "green" type bills that have passed in committee that won't go for a vote. I brought up this simply because it's one of the ones that impact will be felt more widspread then the rest.
