it stil doesnt change the fact i have been raped in the ass by lamiglas

Isn't a 8-12lb 9'6" a bit light for flossing on the Skok?
Why do you always have so much stuff for sale here that you "really need the $50" from??
Are you a tweaker?
nah im not a tweeker.
usually when im short on cash i just sell of all my gear to either buy a new gear.
or i need the extra cash to fix a car or buy some new performance part, or i seen some new toy i wanted.
there are planty of reasons. no of which are more then a passing craze. and by the time i do actually sell a rod or reel im no longer interested in the reason behind selling the gear in the first place.
im not one of those people who likes to keep anything when im not using it.
i buy a setup for fall kings then after the season i turn around and sell it. and do it again the fallowing year. its just how i am.
90% of my gear is in new condition. and everyone who has baught anything from me knows that to be true.
im really not hard on my gear. BUT THAT BEING SAID there is times when i am way to hard on my gear.
i really dont care if i break a rod. i will bust through just about anything while fighting a fish, under logs, over rocks (under them too LMFAO JK) ill put them to their limits every once in a while and that is usually the time i break a rod.
when i was younger i would thumb down on 30lb kings and horse them in as fast as i can. and that is when i was breaking alot of rods.
over the last 5 years i have actually learned to fight fish, when to let them run and when to put the muscle to them. STILL rods will break...no matter what.
you people that have fished the same rods for 10 years with out a problem. thats awesome. good for you
but i just dont care if a rod breaks of not. so i will put them through some stupid [censored] at times.
like fishing sturgeon with an 1143 and 10lb line. that was fun...and i did break that rod on the 4th day of the trip. most fish i caught that trip were around 45" and they put that rod to its limits.
i buy rods for how they fish...weather or not they hold up. thats not a big deal thats why i buy the big names like lamiglas, loomis, and st croix.
i could go buy okuma or berkley...they make the same length and line rated rods as the other brands. but they feel like crap imo. but at the 1/3rd of the price what should i expect.
basicly it comes down to this. i have spent an insane amout of money on lamiglas rods. in the very beginning i was buying them right from the factory before i knew about OE where i buy all my rods from now. and was paying alot more for them from the factory then i do at OE.
and after buying so many rods from them, and fishing the [censored] out of them and heavn forbid one breaks. its kinda shitty that they dont get covered under warrentie
but yet my buddie snaps one over his knee or better yet broke one over some guys head. and he gets his replaced no questions asked. hell we both shipped them at the same time and i didnt even get a call or anything till 9 weeks later and that was to just say they checked the rod in and it wasnt covered. i then had to send a money order to pay for a new tip...and wait another 3 weeks before i got it back
so i have had bad luck with lamiglas...i still wont call them lamicrap...
cause i really do like their rods. i just extremely dislike the service i have gotten over the years.
