I like how some Doc put a +2 on the foot.

"Hell, this injury is so damn cool that I'll call this one a +2"

rofl

Gotta love ER humor.

The other types of spiders that are annoying this time of year are the Orb Weaving golden garden spiders. They spin up webs all around my boat cover between the uprights, & I walk through a dozen of them each fall, loaded with a spider that is now crawling on you somewhere.
Further, they leave long single strands hanging out trying to connect to something somewhere to expand their domain. I get these all over me while mowing the lawn and working in the yard...

Thats nothin'

During some EMT training I saw a picture of a guy that fell on a branch out hunting. It went through his thigh and stopped in his nutsack.

Saw another picture of a lady that got caught in a ski rope behind the boat. The dumbshiat driving didn't notice her getting sucked into the prop. From her ankle to her cootchie looked like a spiral cut ham.

Doing the spastic dance trying to get rid of an imagined(or real) spider probably looks funny to some.

It's that time of year. It's getting colder at night and they're looking for someone warm to snuggle with.
If you hit a dive bar on a week-night you can find sort of the same thing sitting at the end of the bar drinking whiskey.

Flies circling Manpoopiles on the desolate but pristine Skokomish River banks? rofl

Not EVEN close to a StickQuality shot. It's not even in focus! rofl

I got close enough to that spider that it was kinda freaking me out a bit. wink

Honestly, I think it was stalking me..... laugh

Sorry, but not only do I apparently have The Palsy when it comes to photography, but I also do not have the correct macro type lens to take a decent shot.

That was the best that I could do with the lens that I have.

I just have a crappy hand-me-down D10 SLR and a Canon lens. I'd kill for one of the new D50's and some kick-ass "reach out and see that polar bears nose hairs" lense, or "Zoom in so you can see a spiders eye ball" Macro lens.

Ain't gonna happen in my household, as I'm limited to spending huge amounts of money on just fishing gear. Not cameras.

Damn Spiders again tonight. I casually removed this one, after the photo op, and on the way to relocate this one, I encounter another.
