It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

My side hustle is working on cars. You could have had everything you needed for 225 give or take. Two minutes on google and YouTube with borrowed parts for free and you could have done it yourself. If you applied yourself as much as you spend your day being an overly sensitive smart ass you would have saved a lot of money and earned a sense of self accomplishment. I know you won’t take any advice from anyone (how’s that working out for you) but I thought I’d waste my time and tell you anyways. Good job? Didn't you hear Evo? He said to think twice, man! lol

Everything in this thread makes perfect sense...except... it had 76K miles on it at the time, and needed a 500 dollar timing belt...
What did you or your friends do to blow a timing belt at only 76k?

you would have saved a lot of money and earned a sense of self accomplishment. Totally the truth too, finally stopped being timid about taking the engine out of a yard find toyota pickup I bought..engine is free and ready for a hoist tomorrow. I don't know why I was so intimidated by that little 22re. Intake was easy to pull, harness, even the bell housing bolts were easy. Felt good to do something solo for the first time and win...and the smell of grease cuts down on that patchouli and PAWG's

Two minutes on google and YouTube and free tools to borrow from your local auto parts store and you could have fixed it yourself. Good job? Where's the fun in that when there is nobody but yourself to blame when it goes awry..? ...and careful, that starting to sound a little too much like a......job.
