BGR Returning Adult Registered: 02/21/06 Posts: 306 Loc: Marysville, WA	I find myself in the unfortunate position of having to replace my primary downrigger rod. I heard all the cool kids are using these new Guide Select rods. Anybody have any first hand experience? wsu Returning Adult Registered: 06/23/04 Posts: 422	You must have a rod that costs at least $400 for downrigger fishing. Light weight and sensitive are must haves for that application. I've never fished a guide select rod on a downrigger but did fish some side drifting. Seemed like a decent fishing pole.
