Since the ratio of guides to clients is about 50/50, lets here it boys. \:\)

I've got many, but here's one to kick it off. I took some good ol' boys down the Hoh a few years ago, one of which strated drinking beer at the put-in. By the time we were half way down he was shitfaced, tossing his emptys in the river, which I would have to row after to retrieve while he laughed at me. Guess who's rod goes down with the 20-pound chrome buck? Yip. There is no justice in the world.

It just occured to me why this thread probably won't go anywhere, which is the same reason I don't guide anymore.

Retired guides call is ass kissing. The world of hidden truth, subdued integrity, and unspoken fact is one I no longer live in.

Client or not, that dude would have been sitting on a rock on the shore in short order were he in my boat. Customer or not, an arsewhole is an arsewhole....and so long as guides put up with that crap customers will think they can do as they please in your boat.

Why I'm not a Guide (besides the fact I can't fish worth crap..LOL)

Yeah, it's easy to tell an ex-guide is rowing your lazy azz down the river 'cause any time you screw up, you'll hear it! For your screw-up AND all the times they had to choke down the same for all those clients in the past.

That "dude" is one of my bosses, tough guy. I call them like I see them but I draw the line at comitting suicide, and the diiference between being a real bud and being a poser is have your bro's back even when he is drunk and out of line. \:\)

I thought I made it PERFECTLY clear in a different post that I'm NOT Sol's employer nor am I his superviser, heck I don't even work at the same company/firm.

I do think Sol's a chicken sh** for not gettin in that guy's face about his behavior. BTW Sol was not guiding he just happened to be on the oars that day. It was a damn nice fish!

As I recall I not only told CL to quite thowing shi% overboard, I told him I would throw his ass over side if he didn't quit, which would have taken a big timber pevy and 500 cc's of adrenaline injected into my corodid artery to roll him over the gunnel.

Anyone that know's CL can attest that your threat of tossin him overboard was a TOTAL joke. Who besides yourself would think that is remotely doable even with 500 cc's of adrenaline. Maybe a half gallon, nope CL already drank that!

lmfao... The best part about guiding is having your name changed from "Tom" to the new and improved "Bitch" And then said "Bitch" casts directly over said clients line and hooks a fish right where said client just ran his gear through ;\)

All in appropriate company nonetheless \:\)
