here is my tip #2
Whenever I fish from the bank, I always take notice on who has fish on the beach, or I ask if anyone has caught anything. Invariably, someone is always willing to tell you who has hooked fish that day. I then watch to see what they are doing. How long is their leader? What are they using? (corkie, jig, eggs. shrimp?) How much weight are they using? Where are they casting? (short casts, middle, long?) What color are they using, maybe I can find out what test line. All these thing are easy to notice thru observation and quickly give me an idea of how to get an effective presentation into the zone fish are present and active, giving me a better chance at a hook up
