One of the most disheartening things a writer has to cope with is seeing a mistake in print, especially when an editor is responsible for a screwup that appears under your byline. You either develop a thick skin and laugh off the critics (many of whom couldn't spell ethics or objectivity, let alone define them), or you get out of the business. I would hope the latter option hasn't entered your mind, because you've got a lot of expertise to offer and a good, if not grammatically refined, publication through which to share it.

And yes, Chuckn'Duck has a way with words. I came to realize that at WSU back in the day when I used to edit his papers -- the ones he didn't directly plagiarize from me, anyway.
