I will say though that after reading the guest editorial this evening, I was pretty fried!!!

How can a publication that prides itself upon its progressive message of C&R Wild Steelhead (well, C&R on wild steelhead was once progressive and now its pretty standard) publish an article talking about in which the author is proud of the fact that he caught a 30#+ wild steelhead on 6 pound test and that it took him over 30 mintues to land!?!??!?!?!?!?!? confused mad

The author argues that certified scales shouldn't be needed to certify a state record and thus fish do not have to be killed-or some other pointless rhetoric along those lines.

Proper Catch and Release does not include taking the time to weigh the fish and in fact proper catch and release says not to net the fish if at all possible!!

Grrrr...they certainly will be getting a letter from me!!!!!!
