I love my job, but I really get some ignorant things said/asked of me. Had about my highest day of stupid questions, so thought I'd post and see what else people deal with.
I'm a delivery driver, and some things are just common silly things "Is this package for me?". Just being silly/flirty, not really being stupid. BUT....
I get this ALL the time. Today was an all time HIGH. We have what we call driver release, which means we can drop the package on the porch without signature and go. It's funny how many people will come out the door after we've knocked/rang bell (some guys don't, I know) and yell "Hey, do I have to sign for this?". Hmmm, let's see, I left package and am in my truck getting ready to leave. What do you think? LOL This happens ALOT. Well, today was like every other delivery. I think the funniest thing along side this that ever happened was a customer actually jumped in her car and followed me. Came up along side me a block down the road and asked me if she needed to sign for her package. Sheesh.
Then, there comes the "Hey, what's in the box?". Hmmm, I deliver like 300+ packages a day, I have no idea what's in them. Unless by chance it's a Gateway box. I just deliver them. Then, they'll ask "Are you sure you don't know what's in it?". Hmmm, like I lied about not knowing in the first place. LOL
Just some stuff I think is funny. So what do customers/bosses ask you that is a no brainer???
