Did two turkeys over the weekend. One with peanut oil and one with veg. Both were great! Just be cautious when lowering initially into the oil and fry 4 min/lb between 310 and 340 degrees. Check internal temp to insure it's done (160 degrees). The oils other than peanut will not last as long but will be able to be used multilple times as long as you do not overheat it (350+) and filter it after each use..Good luck...P
