Zozo's friend Josh showed me the trick using cheaters as floats last year. I might lose one every few trips now, except for when I give them away. I also made an order through Beau Mac, and they were 16 cents a piece about a month ago. When I take the kids fishing for trout this year you can be sure that they will be using them should we resort to bobber and worm fishing.

I have seen MANY fish caught with these "Monster Cheaters". I even use them to fish eggs or shrimp under a float. You can only use a few splitshot for weight, though.

Cheap, simple and very durable. I had one last me 6 trips, and I now fish jigs about 70% of the time.
