Doc can you show me a salmon run that has been recovered by eliminating gillnets, can someone show me an example other than a trout fishery where selective fishing has recovered anything! Not trying to start a war either but the data shows just the opposite. That study in Bristol Bay didn't prove anything other than that the dropout rate that NMFS is using 2% might be high.
