cool dude. Growing up, mooching buzz bombs off of the peir by my house, the fish would always bite the hook when it was away from the buzzbomb. Idk. There was also a ton of krill where we were fishing. Raging tides would wash up tons of them. you could put a puddle of water in your hand and watch the mini shrimp like things swim around. I think they were krill. sockeye eat krill don't they?
maybe a small red hook will trigger a bite. A big presentation is not what they're looking for.
