Solid tie + plugcut for me.
It's easy to get a spin with a slider but it's a real bummer when you get whacked good and he doesn't stick.
Reel in, herring's mangled (or gone) and your slider is down next to your bottom hook.
You think crap, maybe I could have stuck him if the top hook was tied solid.
