The compressed air is a way of storing energy. That energy has to be produced by another source. Air compressors don't run on sweet dreams and kisses. Same with hydrogen fuel. It takes energy to produce. Electric cars? The batteries need to be charged with electricity that comes from somewhere.


Good thought, Cupo, but I think the over-riding issue is pollution, not efficiency.
