Cherry-picking a select few paragraphs doesn't necessarily represent Republican/conservative ideology if a part of that recognizes the predicament we face and the fact both parties are responsible. I was echoing his assertion that simply raising taxes is the wrongheaded approach to a solution to the problem. I can agree with some of the points in the course and disagree with many others. His isn't the only way to outline the dilemma or fix it.
