Brian I have fished just above mud mountain dam. I have tried to drift for them and also spinners. The water being so glacialy silted this time of year I have found that plunking big bait such as colored marshmallow on top of a whole nitecrawler then tip the hook with a few pautske eggs in the top of the riffles. most of the holes on this river are not to deep maybe 4'-0" or less.
