Holy thread hijack!

Back to the original post. Sorry to hear Sg. About a year ago the wife went on base for the first time and wasn't sure where she was going. She was pulled over for going 25 in a 20, which also coincidentally was a school zone. MP's pulled her over and issued her a ticket. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

To make it worse, the MP"s issuing the ticket told her that it would not go on her record since it occurred on base. Sure enough, 6 month insurance policy came in about a month ago and the rates were jacked through the roof. Not only did the insurance ding for the speeding, but the school zone as well. Factored out being about another $80 per month. I guess MP's are just as clueless as your average cop, or don't give a chit about people and will lie to them. Had we known that it would go on her record, we definitely would have fought it at that point.
