Years ago in Carmel there was a place called Cafe Berlin, and I have never had food like that anywhere in my life. I still talk about it, his rahmschnitzel, jaegerschnitzel, and red cabbage were really special. It was more of a gourmet take on german food and I still talk about it with my pops, how good that place was.

In south France in a town called Comps-Sur-Artuby I had the best pizza I have ever eaten anywhere ever. It had pieces of torn serrano ham, olives, and pesto drizzled with olive oil but there was elements to it I can't describe.

In New Orleans I had fantastic Rabbit Jambalaya and Fried Chicken at Coop's place,Fried Chicken at Willie Maes in Treme. Yeah. Actually a great spot there is the Gumbo Shop in the French Quarter. Try the Gumbo and Red Beans and Rice,or Etoufee ,or Shrimp Creole, and be prepared to go to heaven, but when you have the Crab Cakes you may forget about all that other wonderful stuff!
