Loaded up on ice on Thursday night.
Went to the Canyon over the weekend.
I emptied out the big Igloo when breaking camp, but recharged my 48 qt Rubbermaid cooler before I left the Canyon.
Just checked, there is still ice in my 48 qt Rubbermaid coooler.

The cheap coolers do work if you set them up right and maintain the set up.
The roto-molded coolers are more rugged no doubt there, I'm just not sold on any special magic that they are supposed to bring to the party.
