Jerry Garcia, I think the last part of your of your statement was correct, sometimes you can pay too much. I have 4 Gl3s, 3 of them the rod twists around in the handle. 2 of them the ceramic eyes have poped out. I have 5 allstar rods and I will put them up against the loomis any day. They are catching on pretty fast around here. All you have to do is hand them the allstar rod and let them try it out and they sell themselves. The guys that are buying them are loomis users.
