Yep! Sure did! #2 red octopus. I did have only 12lb test stren offshore for main and 10lb max-perflexion for leader. I dont think it was a snag, it did move about the river (upstream too!) for about 10 minutes before my rig came back at me. It was a good size fish and the heavy water it got into. Bad hook? Sure! **** happens! Man, I've probably gone through few thousand hooks and yes, I have had a few bad ones too.
...anyway, the hook did strighten, I was trippin and *****en to my buddies who also had witnessed it, re-rigged and kept fishing.

Oh, by the way.... Yes, I,m fairly new here but with the "gang and pro-products" identified along with all the attacking and bithen, this is my last post and view on the board for I am not a local nor a good ol'boy or probably cool enough for some of the ego's I have found here. Man, you guys and girls ("the click") turned out to suck! I thought you and the board were pretty cool and informative at first but ****...I'm un-assing this PC and going fishing, roger-out.
