Damn, whats with all the Lami bashing? I wouldnt call "packing a lamisnap" as "being in the dark". IMO they make a pretty good product at a resonable price with an excellent warranty.
I think the rod question is easily solved...If you like it and are confident you will catch fish with it, then buy it...whether its $400 or $100.
One thing I cant argue is you Loomis guys are awful loyal and that speaks volumes.
I denitaley see my first Loomis in the near future. After all one can never own too many rods.
