Steelheader69,

The story I told about the 100 kings was a story fabricated by Kevin Lund from OR about a fishing trip he and a buddy had on the Hump last Halloween. Yes, it is a huge embellishment story that is deeper than a pair of hip boots. He claimed they hooked 100 kings landing 70 of them in 5 hours in 2 holes. My reply was immediately erased by the moderator. This post reminded me of it and it got me boiling all over again. You aren’t allowed to keep a king on the Hump and you got this embellisher telling this fabrication to the hole fishing community. Being a local to this river and knowing several good guides and countless other fisherman that have fished this river, they all say it isn’t possible. They gave the same example that you did.
