I went to their site and read the material. I still dont have a favorable opinion of the organization and have no intent to support them. I think their ideas, including this one, are too extreme. I am also concerned that fishing opportunities would be diminished to the point that the loss in license revenue could severely impact future fisheries and restorations undertaken by the wdf. If the data is true (and I'm not convinced it is) there needs to be modifications to the hatchery release schedules that could curb these numbers. I'm sorry, but in MY OPINION, shutting down fishing is not an option. It is also MY OPINION that this group tends to be too extreme, and reminds me of a "fish greenpeace" organization. As far as Ramone not replying because its a "hostile environment" I would think they could expect that going in, court wont be a picnic either.
