A couple of years ago over on the Hoh I was fishing with my main fishing partner. We came to the pullout with no fish landed. He had to take the truck up to get the trailer, so as he left I told him I would have a steelhead in the box when he got back. I had been telling him all day to try a corkie with roe, and he wouldn't. Right after he leaves, I catch a nice 9 pound hatchery hen, and put it in the box. He gets back, we put the boat on the trailer, and I said to him, " You might want to look in the fish box" The names he called me.... when I told him I caught it on--a corkie and roe.
