Fished the Willapa many years ago with some non-fisherman co-workers who were not equipped (in more ways than you might imagine).
Anyway, when it came to discussing boots, one of the guys complained that he only had knee boots and wouldn't be able to cross the river with the rest of us.
Naturally, I suggested that he duct-tape his knee boots to his rain pants.
He did!
