Our deal is simple anything outside I do anything inside she does. I love to cook so I do the dishes when I do which is a night or two a week. I also take care of the kids quite a bit to give her a break so I do the housework that needs to be done while I have them. I gave up running the family business in 1996 when my daugther was 2 in favor of s simpler life. I work 5 days a week but no more than 40 hours as a salesman for an out of state company. So alot of my time is my own. I am not independantly wealthy but I do OK. We live well below our means as quality of life is more important than material possesions and time away from home working. I generally do the opposite of what everyone around me is doing.
