No daughters here but try growing up with two sisters, only one bathroom, one phone and one TV. In fact one morning before High School I woke up to the usual "fight over the bathroom" only it was between the two sisters. My mom gets up, slaps me and goes back to bed. My sisters, seeing me get whacked for no reason, stopped fighting so I guess it was effective.
