Our family sends their thoughts and prayers to you and your family. I am fortunate in the sense thatI still have both of my parents. While on a steelhead trip to Michigan last spring with my buddy, he got a call from his Mom saying that she had just been diagnosed with terminal cancer. We drove back 14 hours in the middle of the night so he could get back to see her. We hadn't slept for 2 days, as the fishing was pretty good. I don't regret driving home and slamming coffee, with toothpicks in my eyes to stay awake, to give him just a few more hours with her. She passed away two months later.

Too often we take life for granted, and put stuff off until tomorrow. Well folks, at some point, there is no tomorrow. Take time to stop and smell the roses. Live your life to the fullest, and try to make a positive impact on the folks around you. We shouldn't ever be embarssed to tell those people we love, how much we care for them. There is no humility in that. You'll never be forgotten in the hearts of the peoples lives that you influence.

You can rest assured that your Dad is with God, looking down on your every move. Make him proud. God Bless you and your family.
